Tuesday evening, a young lady, who, when at age, will have a fortune of upwards of twenty thousand pounds, eloped with a clergyman. She went from her guardian's about four o'clock, in order to go to the play; but it is thought they went away directly for Scotland, her guardian receiving a letter from her the next morning, in which were these words: Love has the wings of a dove, and I shall be got too far to be over taken. |
