Last month died here, Mr. Henry Crouch, carver, who was
deem'd by good judges to be as ingenious an artist at his
business, as any in the King's dominions.  Some months
before he died, he employed himself in cutting or raising
out of the solid wood, a number of figures to put over a
mantle piece:  In the center, sits Britannia, . . . [10
lines] Fame with her trumpet; and several other curious
figures. . .
