Cork, January 9. One Rawlins, a bawdy house keeper, was
punished here the other day in the following manner: his
hands were fastened with single handcuffs to the tail of a
cart, a man with a large pair of horns on his head sat on
the horse, sounding a ram's horn, a lewd woman (confined for
her fees) sat in the cart with a monstrous pair of horns on
her head, the cart was preceded by the City Trumpeters on
horseback, and surrounded by constables to keep off the mob.
