London. July 24. It being customary to ring the bells upon
the arrival of great personages at their country seats, it
is said that that custom was lately omitted on the arrival
of a certain b----p at his d----se this summer; and that on
his l----p's enquiring the reason of it, he was told, that
they had no Aaron's bells; and that Christian bells were not
a proper compliment for a Jew b----p.
