Cambridge, in Dorchester County, August 18, 1749. Ran away
from the subscriber, on Tuesday the 15th of this instant, a
Negro man named Prince, a well set yellow fellow, aged about
25 years: He had on and with him when he went away a new
blue great coat, a country kersey jacket, two country linnen
shirts, two pair of breeches, one of leather, the other of
black cloth; an old felt hat cut in the fashion of a leather
cap, an old fiddle, and plays very well on the banger.
Whoever takes up the said runaway and delivers him to me,
shall have forthy shillings reward, besides what the law
allows, if taken out of the county. [signed] John Woolford.
