Extract of letter from Breslau.  I take this opportunity of
sending you a melancholy account of the mischiefs done here
by the locusts. . . [30 lines on account of the ravages of
the locusts].  At length somebody very luckily thought of
beating a drum; upon which they immediately took flight, but
settled soon after upon the trees in the forest, from whence
they were driven by the same means . . . [18 more lines
