Philadelphia. . . August 25. . . Monday the 24th inst. being
the anniversary of the nativity of His most Christian
Majesty Louis XVI by the grace of God, protector of the
rights of Mankind, was celebrated in this city with all due
decorum, festivity and popular joy. . . [10 lines] At noon,
and during the remainder of the day, the elegant sett of
bells in Christ Church steeple were rung in full peals, and
frequent discharges of cannon from the vessels in the
