We are informed that on Thursday se'nnight the council and
General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
proceeded to the choice of President and Vice-president of
the Supreme executive council, when his excellency John
Dickenson, Esq; & Hon. James Ewing, Esq; were unanimously
re-elected to those important and elevated stations, for the
ensuing year.
   The day was observed with the usual formalities and
rejoicings, viz . . . [4 lines] the ringing of bells, &c.
