A letter from Philadelphia, dated June 24, 1783, says,"Last
week we had advice by express rom Lancaster, that part of
the troops stationed there, about 80 of them were marching
to this town to seek a redress of grievances from the
executive of the state. . . [10 lines] on Saturday them
marched up to the State-House, in number about 350, with
drums and fifes,--their bayonets fixed, and led by their
sergeants. . . [9 lines, demanded their wages.]
