Deserted from the State Regiment of Artillery, lately
commanded by Thomas Crafts, Esq; the following non-
commissioned officers and matrosses viz. . . [6 lines]
Doctor Edwards, Foreigner, and Abiel Abbot, America,
Drummers; . . . [1/4 column]
  If they will return to their duty by the last day of March
instant, they shall be received and pardoned, otherways they
may depend upon being treated as the military law directs. 
They were dressed in blue uniform coats, turned up with red,
white waistcoats and breeches: many of them carried off
their arms, which is the property of this state. . .  [ 9
lines, signed] Paul Revere, Lieut. Col. Artillery.  Castle-
Island, March 6, 1779.
