Camp Reading, near Danbury, State of Connecticut, Jan. 23,
1779.  Two hundred and sixty dollars reward.  Deserters!
Perjured villains!
Deserted, a few days since, from Col. Moses Hazen's
Regiment, the following men, viz. . . [4 lines] 
Thomas Larkins, alias Kidman, born in England, about 30
years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, of a black complexion
has two scars on his right cheek; much given to singing,
swearing and drunkedness.  Richard Osman, alias Berry, a
drummer, born in England, about 19 years of age, 5 feet 8 or
9 inches high, of a fair complexion, is slender made, has
lost one of his fore teeth, and is some what knock-knee'd. .

  N.B.  They all had new Regimentals, being brown coats
faced with red, and white waistcoats and breeches.
