By a letter from Cambridge, dated the 12th instant, we are informed, that a gentleman, who got out of Boston two days before, says the inhabitants were numbered and amounted to 6573; the soldiers, with their women and children, to 13,600; 300 Tories are chosen to patrol the streets, 49 of a night; very sickly, from 1- to 30 funerals a day, and no bells allowed to toll. |
