April 15.  The poll began at Brentford Thursday morning at a
quarter after nine, and closed at a quarter after four. . .

   The whole was conducted with great tranquility and
regularity; after the poll was over a number of horsemen
with colours flying and musick playing, attended by several
thousand people, went through St. James's Street, the
Strand, and over London bridge, to the King's-Bench, to
congratulate Mr. Wilkes on his success.
   At night the bells of several parishes were rung, . . .
