London, Dec. 24. . . On Monday night Mr. Alexander Dun was
committed to the King's Bench for want of sufficient
sureties. On his coming in he behaved in the most
extraordinary manner, abused all the people that spoke with
him, took down the names of divers persons who were in the
tap-house, whom he said he would prosecute, as he was
powerfully protected, sung several very improper songs, got
upon a little horse that was there, and rode about, and in
short behaved in so frantick a manner, that either little
doubt is to be made of his real insanity of mind, or that he
acted that part extremely well.
