London. . . Yesterday being Easter-Monday, the Right Hon.
the Lord Mayor, Lady Mayoress, &c. in the state coach,
followed by most of the Aldermen, and both the sherriffs,
with their ladies, when in procession from the Mansionhouse
to St. Bride's church, from whence, after divine services,
they returned to the Mansionhouse, where the Lord Mayor gave
an elegant entertainment to several hundred gentlemen and
ladies, amongst whom were many persons of distinction.
There was a ball at night, where the ladies made a most
brilliant appearance.
