Forty State Dollars Reward.  Was lost out of the
subscriber's pocket, on Friday the first of June, between
the 21 and 30 mile stones on the Reading road, a worked
pocket book, containing a large sum of state money, sundry
certificates due to the following persons, viz. No. 46. L
97:5 to Catherine Knight, widow of John Knight, drummer. . .
[11 lines] No. 97, L. 63:7:4 due to John Lesley, drummer; .
. . [3  lines] Whoever will deliver the said pocket book,
money, and papers, to Col. Thomas Craig, near the 21 mile
stone, Capt. Jacob Bower at Reading, or to Mr. Funk, tavern-
keeper in Second-street, Philadelphia, shall receive the
above reward. [signed] Thomas Dungan.  Philadelphia, 12 June
1781.
