London, . . . July 29.  The account of the late action
between the Americans and the troops of Gen. Gage, is one of
the most evasive and unsatisfactory that was ever obtruded
on the public. . . [15 lines, he] prudently omits the show
whether any such advantage has been gained, as may be
supposed to make up for the loss of " . . . 1 drummer
[killed]. . . 12 drummers, and 706 rank and file wounded,"
and unfit for service.
