Boston, May 23. [Report of the arrival of the new military
Governor, General Gage in Boston.]

Castle under a discharge of cannon from the Admiral's ship,
and the North and South Batteries; and preceded by the
company of Cadets, with their Band of Music, escorted him up
the wharf and through King-Street, where the different corps
were drawn up, and his Excellency received the standing
salutes of the respective officers as he passed them.
