Boston, May 27. . . [1 paragraph describing the election of
the King's Counsellors of the province, and the election by
them of Thomas Cushing as Speaker and Samuel Adams as Clerk. 
A sermon was the preached.]
After sermon the Governor and Council, with the Cadets and
Officers of the militia, attended by the new band of music,
proceeded to Concert-Hall, where a dinner was prepared.
[2 paragraphs describing an attempt to interfere in the
festivities by the Commissioners Hulton, Burch, and
Hallowell.  The festivities then disbanded.]
