London, Nov. 3. A prodigious concourse of people assembled
on Tower-Hill, where a temporary stage had been built with
back-seats, on which appeared eight divines, seven of whom
had been educated at the sole charge of the Countess of
Huntingdon, who was present. After psalm-singing, a sermon
was preached by the Rev. Mr. Piercy, Chaplain of the
Countess, suitable to the occasion, the aforesaid gentlemen
being to sail as missionaries to America.
