London, Feb 8.  About six o'clock this morning died, her
Royal Highness the Princess Dowager of Wales. . . [21 lines
follow on her offspring, &c.]
Upon the above melancholy occasion, St. Paul's great Bell,
on which the clock strikes was tolled from 11 to past 12
o'clock, when the clapper, which weighed upwards of 100lb.
weight, broke into two pieces, and of course the tolling
ceased.  The Playhouses, the Opera-Houses, and places of
public diversions will be shut up for some time.
