New-York, October 22. On Tuesday morning the Right Hon.
John Earl of Dunmore, our Governor, arrived at the Narrows
in his Majesty's Ship the Tweed.

In the evening the gentlemen at Hambden-Hall, had a large
bonfire erected in the Common, where was assembled the
greatest number of people ever seen on the like occasion.
Most of the houses were handsomely illuminated, and a
genteel ball was given by the gentlemen of the town and Army
at Bolton's.
