Providence, Sept. 6. Wednesday last being the anniversary
commencement of the college in this town, the gentlemen of
the corporation met at 9 o'clock, A.M. in the college-hall;
from whence they walked in procession to the meeting-house,
preceded by the students in the college, and the candidates
for their first degree. As soon as the corporation had taken
their seats, the audience were entertained with an anthem. .
