London, April 18. A correspondent informs us, that to-
morrow, the 19th, being Saint Yankey's day (as tutelar saint
of North America) and also anniversary to the famous battle
of Lexington! the same will be most honorably observed by
all the true and loyal friends to government from that
country. . . [47 more lines describing participants of
commemorative procession] The procession will be preceded by
the Doctor of Music from Rhode Island, with his newly raised
band of Highland Bagpipers; and the whole to move upon the
quick step, to the tune of Yanke Doodle. . . [8 more lines
describing further commemorative ceremonies and advising
attendees not to "stop up the passage in the narrow part of
the Strand" by the coachmen]
