New York, April 6. . . [3 lines] Among other commodities
belonging to the late garrison at Boston we have got their
orderly book. . . [5 lines describing contents which reveal
troop strength] The following is a true copy of a ticket,
printed with red ink, and sealed, as I suppose, with the
signer's crest. "This ticket, being signed by the
subscriber on the back will admit one gentleman to the
masquerade at Concert Hall, on the 10th of March 1776. The
doors to be opened at seven o'clock." The subscriber signed
on the back, being the Ten of Clubs. [signed] Rt. Pigot.
