Norwich, July 7. . . [30 lines describing arrival of Mr.
Francis Green of Boston in Windham and his intended visit to
Norwich]  On Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock, Mr. Manning,
the grave digger, announced the before mentioned gentleman's
arrival, by ringing the meeting house bell. . . [6 lines,
mob's reaction and Mr. Green's response] . . . for a horse
and cart was provided, so that he had no other alternative,
but to mount the cart or his own carriage; he chose the
latter, and set out properly attended, with drums beat,
horns blowing, &c.
