London. April 21. Since the alliance between England and
France has been in agitation, the greatest respect
imaginable has been shewn to all English persons visiting
Versailles and Paris: His Majesty himself set the example,
by inviting all the English of any distinction to balls, &c.
&c. All the nobility and gentry at Paris have conducted
themselves much the same as Count de Gingne has here, so
that scarce a night has passed there without routs and
