Williamsburgh, (in Virginia) July 2. The governor has issued
his proclamation, and offered a reward of fifty pounds, for
apprehending one Nicholas Curlett, lately a tavernkeeper in
Winchester, who on the 27th of May last, barbarously
murdered Mr. Jeremiah Beall. . . [2 more lines] It seems Mr.
Beall, and some others had been merry making that day, and
in the evening, hearing a fiddle at Curlett's tavern, they
proposed joining the company there. . . [11 more lines
