Naples, January 2. . . [1 paragraph]  The court came to town
from Portici on Friday last, and the next evening his royal
highness paid his compliments to the King and Queen of the
two Sicilies, who received him with every demonstration of
friendship and cordiality; and their majesties conducted his
royal highness to the private theatre of the court, where a
comic opera was performed by a company brought for that
occasion from one of the public theatres.  His royal
highness afterwards supped with their majesties, where every
thing was conducted with the greatest ease and politeness. 
On Sunday evening his royal highness went to the great
theatre, which was illuminated, it being the King's
birthday; on which occasion there was in the morning a grand
gala at court . . .
