Milford, May 8.  Yesterday we had here a very decent piece
of respect paid to the memory of the late Hon. Roger Newton,
Esq; who was chief colonel of the 2d regiment of militia;
the troop and two foot companies marching, in their funeral
posture, with muffled drums, &c. round the town, and by the
