New-York, Sept.18. On Monday last his Excellency, Sir Henry
Moore, baronet, departed this life in Fort-George, after 16
days illness, and in the fiftysixth year of his age.--We
never had a governor whose death was more deeply and

expired, all the colours in the harbour were half-hoisted,
all the bells tolled a great part of the day. . .
