Extract of a letter from Reading, November 28.  Mr. Alder,
the cooper of Abington, to whom the 20,000 L.  prize lately
fell, on his being acquainted with the good news, not only
set the bells a-ringing, and kept open house, but came to
the following resolution, viz. that the messenger who came
down, and the two bluecoat boys who drew the prize, should
be handsomely rewarded . . .
