Fifty dollars reward.  Run away from the subscriber, on
Thursday last, the 23d inst. a Negro slave, named Diamond,
about 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, is well made, and his
complexion a very deep black; took with him a new light blue
coat, with red capes and cuffs, and yellow buttons, a white
coat, jacket and breeches, about half worn, a pair of black
breeches, a pair of buckskin ditto, three pair of linnen
ditto, and a pair of new English boots; he also took with
him a violin, of which he is very fond, tho' a miserable
performer. . . [3 lines, signed] W. Erskine.
 N.B. The above Negro was heard to say he would go to
Newport.
