London, August 8.  Yesterday morning about eight o'clock, a
messenger from the King at Windsor, with news of her
Majesty's safe delivery of a Princess: orders were
immediately sent to General Broome for the Park and Tower
guns to be fired as usual on such occasions, and the bells
of St. Martin's, St. James's, Westminster-Abbey, and St.
Margaret's, Westminster, were rung for the increase of the
Royal offspring;. . .
