London, June 3. Extract of a letter from Bridgewater, June
2.
Yesterday at 10 o'clock, Mr. Charles Fox arrived here, and
at 11 o'clock began to canvass the town with Mr. Allen and
Mr. Balch. The bells rang merrily, cannon were fired, and
the day was concluded with other marks of rejoicing. There
is to be a meeting this day at the Assize Hall, when Mr. Fox
was expected to make a florid oration.
