Plimouth, Nov. 13 1772.  On Thursday the 13th ult one
Solomon Goodwin was executed at Falmouth, pursuant to his
sentence, . . . in the afternoon was carried to the place of
execution: He there affectionately cautioned the crowd of
people who attended him against intemperate drinking,
quarreling, &c. The people at his desire sung a Hymn from
Dr. Watts; Hark from the tombs a doleful sound,&c.
