Philadelphia, March 21. One day last week, a blind man
amusing himself in Second Street with a harp, was teized by
some unlucky boys who broke the strings of his harp, &c. he
by way of keeping them off flourished his walking stick,
whereby he struck one of them, a lad of 18 or 19 years of
age, on the breast, which together with his fall, put an end
to his life after languishing a short time. The blind man
was committed to jail.
