An unlucky affair lately happened at Angers, in France, where the Officers of the Carabineers, having given a ball to the ladies; some of the gentlemen of the town, who accompanied them, were treated a little cavalierly, which, in the end, produced a quarrel, and they retired, sword in hand, to decide it. Four gentlemen were left dead upon the spot. |
