Boston, Sept. 12. Never was a country more agreeably
relieved from gloomy horror and despair than the inhabitants
of this land yesterday experienced in the intelligence from
England. . . [66 lines reporting change in ministry] The
next morning, was ushered in with the ringing of all the
bells in this metropolis, not excepting those of the alms-
house and work house.  The bells were also rung in the
neighbouring towns particularly at Charlestown and
Cambridge, where there were also bonfires and iiluminations
on this joyful and ever memorable occasion. . . [25 lines
