Prince-George, Nov. 5, 1760.  The following particulars
appearing to me of such general and weighty concern. . . [16
lines describing meeting between Louis Latinac and Salloue
and other Cherokee Indians]  Salloue immediately seized the
Hatchet, saying, I am not tiard of war yet, I will give
them, the English, more of it, and danced the war dance;
after which all the others took up the hatchet, and declared
in favour of the French. . . [52 lines describing further
the agreement between Latinac and Alloue and attempts by the
writer to confirm same, signed] A.MRLM.
