Whitehall, August 18. . . [6 lines] Prince Ferdinand having
heard of the defeat of Prince Isenbourg, and being unable to
bring the French army under M. de Contades to an engagement,
and being also much retarded in his motions by the heavy
rains, he found it necessary to repass the Rhine. . . [28
lines describing encounters with the enemy.]  He order'd the
other regiments to march with drums beating up to the enemy,
as soon as they heard the fire of the regiment of
Stolzenberg, and to attack them with bayonets. . . [22 lines
concluding description of the battle.]
