For sale, by Norman Butler, a few rods south of the great-
bridge, Hartford:  Best English steel suitable for sleigh-
shoes and other uses; West-India rum, per hogshead or
barrel, New England do. per barrel, sugar, Geneva, French
brandy, Madeira and Tenerife wines, tea, chocolate, pepper,
raisons, cotton-wool; writing, cartridge and wrapping paper;
beaver hats; silk for ladies gowns, black sattin, peaong and
alamode, lawn, ribbons, buckram, twist, pins, wool-cards,
china cups and saucers, long and short pipes; Watts's
Psalms, primmers; powder and shot, sheet lead, 10 by 8 and 9
by 7 window-glass, sail-twine, &c. 
N.B.    Cash, or any of the above goods, given for clean
cotton or linen rags. Hartford, Dec. 17, 1781.
