Just published, and now selling by Nathaniel Patten, book-
binder, a little north of the state house in Hartford, in
two volumes, octavo, neatly bound and letter'd, letters
written by the late right honorable Philip Dormer Stanhope,
Earl of Chesterfield to his son, Philip Stanhope Esq. late
envoy extraordinary to the court of Dresden; together with
his lordship's Life; and an account of his son; the Art of
Pleasing, an additional Series of Letters; some poems; and
several other pieces, on various subjects.  Subscribers
requested to call or send for their books, as soon as
convenient.
Just come to hand, and now selling by said Patten testaments
psalters, Dilworth's Spelling books, primers, Watts' Psalms
and Hymns, Divine Songs, Latin Accidence, Doddridges Life,
Providence, a Poem, the Death of Gen. Montgomery, Popes
Essay on Man, A Father's Legacy to his Daughters, Buchan's
Family Physician, History of the Martyrs, Romans History of
the United Netherlands, Hubbard's History of the Indian
Wars, Religious Trader, English Liberties, American
Negotiator, Gough's English Grammer, Law's Singing Books,
pocket books, and a variety of small histories, picture
books, &c. for children.
Cash given for clean cotton or linen rags, or the above
books, writing-paper, &c. at the usual price they were in
the year 1774.
