Hartford, September 29.  The following is a return of the
killed, wounded and missing in the battle near Still-Water,
the 19th of September, 1777.  2 lieutenant-Colonels, 3
captains, 2 subalterns, 3 serjeants, 2 drummers and fifers,
52 rank and file killed.  6 captains, subalterns, 13
serjeants, 1 drummer and fifer 182 rank and file wounded.  1
captain, 1 subaltern, 7 serjeants, 29 rank and file missing.

By express arrived last evening from the honorable Major-
General Gates, to the honorable council of this state, we
are favoured with the following great and glorious
intelligence. . . [22 lines]  Articles of Convention between
Lieutenant-General Burgoyne and Major-General Gates. 1.  The
troops under Lieutenant-General Burgoyne are to march out of
their camp with the honours of war, and the artillery of the
intrenchments to the verge of the river where the old fort
stood; where the arms and artillery are to be left, the arms
to be piled by words of command from their own officers. . .
