By permission of the committee of Hartford, will be taught
by Fagan and Ballentine, Arithmetick. . . [4 lines],
mathematicks. . . [4 lines], musick.  The following
instruments, viz.   violin, german flute, french horn,
hautboy, clarinet, bassoon, psalter, vaux humanes, pipe and
tabor, mandalines, and fife.  Music also will be found for
the different instruments. 
Gentlemen or ladies may likewise be taught the rules of
composition in music, and may also have music wrote or set
for the organ, harpsichord, spinnet, or guitar. 
N.B. Gentlemen may be attended at their own apartments; and
a night school will also be kept from six til nine o'clock. 
The above instructors are to be found at Mr. Knox's, near
the ferry in Hartford.
