Run-away from the subscriber in the night of the 15th of
September ult, a Negro man servant named Hampton, about 18
years old, this country born, talks good English, is a well
set fellow, about 5 feet 9 inches high, is artful fellow. 
Had on and took with him a homespun grey jacket, a striped
under ditto, b[ ] two trousers, and a small felt hat. Also,
took with him a fiddle and a fife, plays tolerably well on
the fife.  Whosoever shall take up and return said Negro,
shall receive five dollars reward, and all necessary charges
paid, by [signed] Samuel Barker. Branford, October 5, 1776.
