Boston, Jan 24.  On Friday evening last, an assembly was
opened at Concert Hall, for the winter season.  It is said a
large number of the principal gentlemen of the town who have
been of very different sentiments in the last party disputes
are subscribers, and that the assembly was proposed, in
order to restore peace, harmony and the blessings of social
life. . .
