London, Sept. 30.  Yesterday her Majesty was taken in labor,
at her palace. . . [12 lines naming those who were summoned
to assist her and announcing the birth of a Princess]  The
news of this happy event was communicated to the public by
the firing of the Tower guns at noon, which was followed by
the ringing of bells and other tokens of joy.
