Newtown, in Fairfield Country, Connecticut, the 25th of
August, 1766. . . [136 lines regarding lost child who was
eventually found but not before he was tortured by Indians
who were subsequently punished] were sentenced to be whipt
forthwith at the gallows, with a haltar round their necks,
and over the gallows, imprisoned six weeks, and then to
receive the second part of the same tune. . . [9 lines,
