Extract of a letter from St. Kitts. . . [13 lines describing
the destruction of stamps, burning of two houses and a boat
in the harbor.  Also, the carrying of an effigy through town
which was burnt that evening.] The evening concluded with an
elegant supper, drums beating, french horns playing; and the
last toast given was, liberty and property and no stamps.
